On 25 June Cyprus Turkish Airlines (CTA) and Cyprus Turkish Holidays Ltd ceased operations and a planned partnership between Cyprus Turkish Airlines (CTA) and Atlas Jet will now not proceed. Passengers affected are advised to seek advice in the first instance from their travel agents or tour operators regarding their position. There is no ‘help line’ available yet for passengers, but Cyprus Turkish Airlines can be contacted on the following numbers: (+90 392) 44 458 49 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting (+90 392) 44 458 49 end_of_the_skype_highlighting, 228 3901, 228 3045 or 227 1706.

Dont be sorry. The more info the better, even if it is repeated.

Does this mean CTA are finally bust in which case Credit Card payments can be recouped and new bookings can be made or are they still saying that another airline will honour flights that are booked and therefore you have to wait some more by which time all available seats with other airlines will have gone

Its a shame having used CTA for about 10 years I actually quite liked them but their employees engaging in industrial action to block their only chance of keeping their jobs is like turkeys voting for Christmas

Msg 1 Now a third change to the FCO web site today - they have removed the reference to CTA Holidays which is not directly a party to the problem
