Hi All,

School is out and we have to entertain the children for 13 weeks and we all know that this can get expensive.

I thought i would try and help some of the mums out with ideas of what could be done and if parents want to add to the list great!

Football academy at Sunny Lane School - Child needs to be booked in

Golf lessons - http://www.korineumgolf.com/news-Korineum-37.aspx

http://www.korineumgolf.com/information-booking-23.aspx

Strawberry Picking - Ozankoy

Pic nic - a few friends could get together and have a teddy bears pic nic, take some games with you. there is a pic nic area in Karsiyaka which is well shadded and also you have the option to have a BBQ.

Water park - Lapta or the one in Catalkoy

Riverside - Alsancak, its smaller and only has a few slides but has 3 pools, plenty of shade and it will keep the children busy for the afternoon.

Semina - Karsiaka - this also has a few slides so will keep them busy.

I have taken my children to the lapta aqua park - brilliant!!

caters for all ages. Small pool for little ones with a pirate ship in it, slides and other features. There is a deeper pool for older children who can swim and it has some fantastic rides/slides on it. Then there is a 3rd pool for Adults and Grannies who just want to cool off. It also has a games area with air hockey etc. All of these are within the same area so from our seat we could view all. We spent the day there and had drinks and meals it was very good and very cost effective (can't remember how much but we thought it was great value for a full day). Have recommended it to others and they have used it and given me great feedback.

Bowling is cheap - 5tl per game per person at the one up near Ezic.

Just don't let them go down to the arcade area - you can do 20tl down there in about 15 minutes!!!

as you come through Alsancak heading towards lapta, starling is on the RHS. just before you get to the lapta strip there is a turning on the LHS with a BIG water park sign, take this turning, it is then well sign posted from there.

Brilliant day out

We went on a teddy bear picnic on monday to the place in Karsiyaka but it was closed, so please dont plan this for a monday, we ended up going to horse shoe bay and the kids had a brilliant time there was a small group of us the children played on the beach then played some board games, can honestly say them and us were all tired by the evening.
