Can anybody recommend a reliable internet provider?

I have been with Bortec for two years and had very good service. However since this so called change over to fibre optics and the take over of Extend several months ago I have had nothing but trouble, Download speeds are slow, quality usually very poor and frequent drop outs. ( I use speedtest.net and pingtest.net to check)

I have lost count the number of times I have had to ring up to get it sorted. Ok sometimes it's beyond Bortecs control but is anybody else getting similar problems and can anyone recommend a reliable internet provider?

dont start me on this 1 with bortec, i was told my signal was poor because it had to run up hill lol





Think the problem is over subscribing, instead of keeping a 1000 people happy, they make 1500 miserable greed im afraid

I cannot agree with you. Things got worse when Arinet & Extend merged. Actually my Bortec/Extend connection has been fine this week, so far. Not one drop out yet?

Let's hope I haven't tempted fate with that statement.

At least you can usually get in touch with Bora during in the day, if not at night, Saturday afternoon, Sunday & bayrams etc. etc.

Hello..Bora is reliable. I agree with scruff.. Bora and his staff always there to sort things out for their customers. For me after sales is very important. You can have internet from anyone but the question is will they show their faces again. I don't think so.



I am reading the comments about the internet providers placed by several users. Some says it took 10-15 days that somebody finally came from extend. Some says nethouse got you tube problems because of their IP addresses. Some says turkcell dongle does not work in several places.etc etc



I am happy with e-motion, because I am having a descent internet speed..I had internet cut off couple of times but now it is better than before.They have increased their bandwidth, thats what they said to me.

I have been with Extend now for over 4 years and no problem, we get our access point from the Merit perhaps i am just lucky

I'm with nethouse. Fairly reliable. It does go off for a few seconds occasionaly but I think thats because we're so far from the aerial. Our 'aerial' thing is pointed to the Sempati and we're right in the centre of Lapta village. Theres quite a few trees in the line of sight between us and the Sempati

wouldnt use any other company.
