| Culinary herba such as, borage, mint and parsely, can be frozen into icecubes to add an extra zip of flavourings to your Gin and Tonics, Cubra Libras and in fact any type of cold drink you fancy!! Just snip of the leaves of your favourite herbs, pop them into an ice cube tray, fill with water and freeze!! You can also take some pith from a lemon or lıme or even orange and do the same....super delicious extra flavourings!! Freezing herbs, are a simple way to store and save...this is especially useful if you have an abundance of herbs, but do not want to waste any. Simply harvest the leaves and other parts you wish to save, put in plastic boxes or freezer bags, and put into the freezer. This does not alter the flavours or the properties in anyway at all, and is most useful for the winter when leaves are not actually ready. Fikret |
