| I am now the owner of another 4 ferral kittens, im sure you can imagine my joy. As a responsible dad i have got to get the little boys & girls done, if you know what i mean. KAR, say they have now crash baskets as they are all out at present. Do any of the members have one please, as we have about 2 weeks before these darlings decide they may want young of ther own. we are happy to collect from a central position, like Girne. Railroad |

| When you say crash basket, do you mean the cage they use to trap them in before moving them to a cat basket, or just regular cat baskets? KAR came and got my 4 strays using their traps and they work a treat, but totally different from a normal cat basket. |

| Hi All. I have the normal type basket that we used in the UK. This is a wire type basket that has a false wall inside it, the purpose being, that the Vet can put the ferral cat out whilst still in the cage, this way thay can keep there fingers for longer. It is a cage that the KAR use, but they are saying that all baskets are out. what we need is someone who has one of these to return it to KAR, so that we can use it. Railroad |

| Firstly i thank the people who have repled to me. But i am saddened that i have now had no positive respons from the people or friends of people who must have these crash baskets. I have read so many times of people who have found kittens and puppies abandoned in there gardens, who will then can go on to to produce more, PLEASE ask your friends, these baskets are out there, i i need one very ,very soon, or there are more kittens on there way. | I know this won't help you railrod, but as a word of advice for anyone else in your situation, as KAR won't take kittens until they are 5 months old to get "done", it is a good idea to book them in about a month before. I know I had a pregnant mother turn up in the garden one day, and after she had the kittens and they were old enough to leave for a day, I took her to the vets to get done, so no more. (Luckily she was friendly and I could pick her up), but then had to book the kittens in. KAR take 4-6 weeks to pick them up after you've rung them as are so busy, so was panicky because at 5 months they can be breeding again. If newly pregnant the vet will abort the kittens. Keep ringing KAR stressing the importance, they do try to do their best. Stella |
