OK chatalkoykid

Remind me how England did in the world cup, and what English player is still at Wimbledon.

OK - look at world supersport, where we lead, and world superbikes where we have several excellent riders. Oh and show jumping, three day eventing where we excel.

I'm not even Scottish and Murray does not consider himself a brit but a good player is a good player and he did get to the semi's unlike the overpaid, egotistical footballers of the UK.

I actually support Tomas Berdych but I do recognise a contender that has put his all in and will do so again ie Murray, he has beaten all the top players in the past year so at least there is hope. Whether he will win on the big stage ie a grand slam.............. who knows?

OK Navek...maybe F1...I have been to many circuits to watch F1, and up until about fifteen years ago I would have agreed with you....However today F1 is boring, it' not a race but a procession, with very little overtaking. That's why the bikes are a lot better. Quite often there are more overtaking moves on one lap than an entire F1 race. The riders are more visible...and the racing is definitely much, much more exciting whether it is the superbike series, or Moto Gp. We have lots of riders capable of winning in world superbikes. I do not want to take anything away from Hamilton or Button and co, 'cos they are brilliant, at what they do. But the bike racing is better and much more interesting to watch!

Guess Murray's stopped being British and reverted to being Scottish again. Until next year. Nobody would have stood a chance against Nadal yesterday, the guy should be handicapped. That's a thought, offer him English citizenship, that'll slow the bugger down.
