Persuaded friends to give it a try with us last night,after having a wonderful meal there last year. The menu was very mediocre with little choice.We thought it was overpriced for what we had, so sadly it will be Effendi from now on, when we want something a bit special.

Went a few weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would agree that the menu is a bit samey but food was very good as was the service. We even got a free drink from the bar for our table of 6!

Number 14 is every bit as good as Efendi in my honest opinion, but who am i to comment. Must have been an off day, and quite right not good enough, sorry to hear that.

I have never had a bad meal there and very reasonably priced, at least when its a small menu you know everything is fresh, last time we went 4 of us had 3 course meal and 2 litres of their lovely house wine and it came to just over 200 tl, don't think thats expensive at all.

In reply to Parkview four of us had 2 courses 1 caraffe of house wine 4 coffees 4 brandies 301tl that is expensive! and yes that was only my second meal there the first being good.

That does sound quite dear TT I'm sure when we went a couple of weeks ago 6 of us paid around 60TL per head and 5 of us had 3 courses plus 1 carafe of house wine and coffee and we all had a glass of champagne to start at 10TL a glass.

im so upset to read this, kay is a wonderful woman and a wonderful chef, please let them know, not on here. its such a beautiful setting, with lovely hosts. they will sort it for you. Kay is such an acccomplished chef xxxxxxxxx
