| I am aware that this subject has been covered many times. we all had major problems some time ago, but then it seemed to get better and i must admit i thought we were out of the woods , so to speak. Well again as all you Dopi users must be aware, it is total rubbish, or at least it is to me. Sitting trying to watch Sky news, 0n for 20 Seconds off for a couple of mins. What can be done to bring pressure to bear, or is just to late. If you are going to give me advice on my alternatives, please make it simple, because i am. I have a laptop out here and a speed of 512, im sure that will mean something to somebody, would i have to upgrade to a new speed ( more money ), or is this OK to get British TV, and would it be live or do i have to down load overnight to watch the next day, as i do love to watch the footy on a Saturday afternoon live.. O and no i cant have a masive Sky dish, room not available. |

| Had the same issue's all day. Have sent an e-mail to Dopi -waiting for reply. Suggest you contact Namik -he is normally very helpful but I must confess the reception at the moment is rubbish in Esentepe. His number is 05338601010. | This is he message that appeared on their website 6 days ago: Freezing in Dopi TV. Dear Customers; We have been experiencing "freezing" problem on our system. Problems started to appear 22nd of January. Channels freeze 3-4 times during the day for a period of 5-10 minutes. After several tests and maintenances its clearly understood that the weak link in the system is the company we are receiving service. This company is a known European company which receives the decryption codes from us and deliver it via satellites. This company is a well invested, big company. Also we are working with them for more than 4 years. This is the second problem appeared with them. The problem is accepted by this company but unfortunately its not sorted out yet. As we rely on their service, we cant promise about the time of the solution. We hope and believe its not going to take long time. We are very sorry for the interruption of the service. | that why we are not replying the threads on the forum. For last 2-3 months we are trying to be informative as much as we can. That's including writing some of the match schedules as well. And received many thank messages, recommendations as well, but unfortunately many of non-customers are keeping a campaign against Dopi, including a so-called prediction about Dopi to be closed down. Please dont respect to this type of people. They are using "Dopi" name for their campaign against these forum's admins. Dopi has no link to any of the forums, forum admins other then any of them being a customer of our service. Dopi is a company who has so many customers for the TV system, also has an IT Department which gives IT Service to many of the known companies, organizations in North Cyprus. There is no possible way for Dopi to be closed down. I have sent you an e-mail and have yet to receive a reply .I'm not campaiging to close your business, infact I'm one of your supporters.I just want to be able to watch a selected programme in full without these constant interuptions. | re msg 6 Teatime my suggestion? : that is of course a matter for dopi's clients... Under NORMAL circumstances a company would have a helpdesk / phone contact number..and SOMEONE would answer... I note the msg on their website says they won't come on forums ( !) so you could go to their web site ( http://www.dopitv.com - as they have a 'online helpdesk' ... Ooops... it is 'closed' .... :( |
