Moving from South to North Cyprus

Does anyone know of or have any experience of removal firms that can arrange a move of household contents from the South to the North?

It has the best beaches, the most natural landscape, and less commercialised than the South.

I have worked here, and finally bought (off plan) here, and despite problems do not regret it.

It also has the best golf course on the island, I am told by those that know!

We have been coming to the Island for many years now and have to say that we love Cyprus, the whole Island and only wish that this constant taking sides did not happen. We attempted to buy in the South on four occasions but were let down on each occasion.

1. We were buying off plan and the place was changed without telling us and so we did not want the apartment and good enough after some months the Developer gave us back our money after good work by our Lawyer.

2. Price was agreed on an apartment but then the old guy tried to rip us off by putting the price up and we backed out. Again we got our money back after a few months work by the lawyer.

3. and 4. Our personal decision to pull out because of various hassles.

We still love the South but then started visiting the North as well.

We have bought in the North then now but have no wish to anger the Cypriots and ha

have no wish to upset anyone in whose Country we are a guest. Therefore we chose carefully to be sure that the land was not and had not been owned by a Greek Cypriot at any time.

If only this bickering could stop because it is and will have a detremental effect on the Island as a whole. In these difficult times it would be better to pull together. Well I dream on.
