Boss radio and cd player

I would like to get a Boss player but not sure if it will work over here..I dont want one to go into my laptop i just want to sit one in the lounge and get good radio reception so i was thinking of the best one,so folks can i just plug it in and away i go ? thanks for you help.

The 'Bose wave radio ll ' with CD, AM and FM radio will work fine here - don't bother getting the top of the range one with 'Digital' - DAB radio, as we don't have DAB, - you would just be wasting your money...

Spider, if you want good radio reception you first of all need a good broadcaster, and although subjective, I'm not sure that is what you will find on your FM radio. It would be far better to get a good internet radio or even just some decent speakers attached to your computer and access a site like this http://www.radiofeeds.co.uk/

I am not having much luck with the internet it keeps going off..and i have speaker but when i took them out they keep saying not compatable now..and now the web cam on the skype needs re installing or downloading i cant see why it just stopped it was working fine..Oh well someone someday will help us out..greenman i have also tried that link..so i guess i just have no idea :(

'Speakers not compatible' ?? How can they not be unless they are USB ones. in which case you probably just need to download a new driver.

I download anything the laptop asks me to ) But i dont know how to download a new driver ? never mind..and i wish i could download English TV. :( one day,just maybe one day LOL. ))
