The Dutch manager obviously knew that the Spanish team were far superior to them before the game started.

He basically planned to kick them off the park and the strategy almost worked. Thankfully the Spanish managed to score in extra time and the lottery of penalty kicks was avoided and the Dutch thuggery was not rewarded.

I couldn't believe it when the Dutch coach blamed the referee for their defeat. They should have had another 2 players sent off!



Holland has gone down in my estimation as a top footballing nation
