I signed last night.

Since then there have been another 47 signatures.

I thought the statement was very balanced and I had not problems with putting my name to it

Me too, although it would be interesting to know what happens when the 100,000 signatures have been collected. It would also be interesting to know if any members of the government would bother to sign.

All castles in the air. Northern Cyprus will be reunited with the RoC (Rest of Cyprus) and thus will enter the EU and Turkey wil also enter the EU. All other possibilities are just wishful thinking.

5 years ago I wanted to support the TRNC.

Now I recognise the TRNC government for what it truly is.

Therefore I will not be signing.

JohnW: Just a thought. When (not if) the TRNC joins the EU by reuniting in one way or another with the RoC - how many Brits in TRNC - wanted by British justice (a rough estimate a couple of years ago was about 20) - will have to look for another sanctuary?! Will some companies suffer from the loss of staff?! What do you think?

I would love to hear your workings out and doodles that have helped you draw these conclusions.

Cronas (mess 14)

I also will NOT be signing! The TRNC Government does NOT deserve any support at this moment in time!

How could you possibly support such a bent and crooked system,

Paul.

mozgor/Msg 2: 'Hi all, would anyone who cares about the situation in TRNC please please sign this petition?'

Too many cheated expats are extremely concerned about 'the situation', I can assure you!

When the government rights the wrongs of all this property deception and skulduggery, and fairly compensates the innocent victims, I am certain EVERY expat. will sign your petition only too willingly.

Until then, don't you think it's a bit insensitive to be asking - or, is your posting some sort of a 'wind-up'?

NO I will not sign... my family owns land there that is ours, not yours to take. Until that is resolved this issue will not be settled.
