There was a wasps nest the size of a cup on the back of my sun lounger. I hacked it off with a hoe, but the wasps seems to be buzzing around still. Will they disappear soon?

we had one on our shed we sprayed it with fly/wasp spray & put one of those smelly coil things that you light under it to get them all out & then broke it off & set it alight. worked just fine.

Over here in the UK we have a spray foam that completely covers the nest, and kills all of those nasty blighters.
