I am raising this again because the mods have chosen to ignore the problem.

A thread has been closed asking for answers, staing the thread has been answered but it has not.

Why aren't the long term bans rescinded? A simple question that requires a simple answer.

If certain admin are so biased against some members that are banned then the others should just over rule them. I know for a fact that at least one moderator has a vendetta against one or more of the banned members. If these members are not reinstated I will name the admin and the members concerned and the history behind them.

This forum has no need to ban any member who stays within the boundaries. To ban a member because they have a different viewpoint to an admin member is wrong.

Some members because they belong to a select elite can get away with foul language and abuse on a regular basis, either the admin become unbiased or this forum becomes untenable.

I hope other members will comment accordingly

Message 1 - I will, I hope, comment "accordingly".

What I would suggest is this. That you "name the admin and the members concerned and the history behind them".

This will, at least, put certain board members in the picture.

With thanks.

Message 2. Your comment defies comment.

If you think that a retired firefighter should be described as an "old smoke dodger" then I hope to Christ your place of living catches fire. Where is it, by the way? Oh, sorry; I believe I know.

Incidentally, why do you keep referring to my age? There are many other members on here who are older than I am - why do you harp on about my age, in particular?

You are an ignorant, venomous, nasty piece of work. I know who you are - do not send me any more unsolicited e-mails and may you rot in hell.

As I said to you before - they said you were a nasty piece of work and they weren't joking.

PS to message 4

Oh, and by the way, I don't know whose photograph you've nicked this time, but whoever she is, have a word and tell her to get her teeth fixed.

As you all know according to the new set up a mod can ban a member up to two weeks. Two mods can ban up to a month and after that its a joint decision by all the mods. Therefore all the bans are now under review by all the mods and the collective decision is expeted soon. Therefore any bans that may continue will not be the decision of any single mod but a collective one.

In accordance with the above explanation I see no point in discussing this topic here any more.

I am closing this thread accordingly.

I would like to announce that forum admins have evaluated the situation with the few permanently banned members.

This has been under discussion for a week now.

We have all voted and the result is that all permanent bans are now permanent.

In other words, the majority of the forum admins agree on all permanent bannings.

Thanks,

Izzet
