Hi,

I wonder if anyone can point me in the direction of a decent company who sends Air freight to the Middle East.

Cost per Kilo would help too.

We are currently having trouble finding any information or help.

Many Thanx in advance

I think Syrian airlines via Damascus might be able to help, contact them.

Or Gulf air to Bahrain and then Bahrain - Kuwait on a Dhow might be cheaper.

Thanks Geoff,

If we go via that route would it be a big problem transporting our stuff over the border?

Just as a thought have you asked the Kuwait Embassy how people transport their goods to them and by which routes - surely they must have some ideas.

Middle East Airlines may be able to offer a solution if you contact them.

They do fly to Kuwait and to Turkey and so must have some sort of transport system in place. They are based in Beirut but do fly around the area.

We shipped a container from Kuwait to TRNC in June 2009 the company we used was Global freight systems Co. here in Kuwait. I can't the remember the company they used in TRNC but here is the e-mail for you if you want to get in touch with them global@blobal-fright.net . The guy we used there was called Les.

The only thing I will say that is it cost us KD4000 which is about 8000 GBP for a 20ft container. Hope this is some help to you.
