i played in the last match against the pakistannis at alsancak stadium,it was a great day for all,i was the one being bowled out in the photo of cyprus today! doh!

To be honest we was lucky somebody never lost their teeth or a broken nose etc,one ball stayed low and the next would be head height off the same length.Im not knocking it at all,we all enjoyed it but we were lucky someone never got hurt!

A suggestion would be to get a roll out flix (artificial)strip pitch,i know the out field would be lumpy still but at least the wicket and strip would play true,also you could play on any pitch no probs as long as someone had a van to take it around to a match,of course the other alternative would be a proper ground but with that comes a lot of money,voluntary help and machinery etc. Or perhaps body armour and helmets for all. lol.

Ill put a few feelers out in the uk to see if i can locate a flix pitch for NC.

O.M.G we have just got rid of the world cup, and Wimbledon, now we are subjected to Cricket, can we not have a sport page, sorry but I am not a sport fan.
