I see that Patara City is advertised as pre 74

I seem to remember from this forum that the developer had done a deal with the GC owner, which would seem to resolve any problem with title. Can any owner confirm they have individual pre 74 title in their name.

Its a nice site and handy for town.

Must mean then that the site was built on two separately owned plots.

individual deeds for an apartment on this site is i believe some way off. shared deeds have been issued on payment of the relevant taxes etc. I am an owner and ozyaLCINS STATE all payments to the greeks has been done for the WHOLE SITE. i have my shared deeds for my apt on A18 block.

safe to buy according to all concerned but check as always with your solicitor.

Going to sell my 4 bed duplex (190m2) soon...... any offers???

Please note that there is now no way to tell if you have pre 74 by looking at the deeds. In the past they were different so you could differentiate. All deeds are now called Turkish Title so you have no idea if they are pre 74, exchange or TMD. Truly the only reliable way is to contact the land registry in the south.



During my research into pre 74 PTP I was contacted by several people who swore they had pre 74 and sadly it turned out that they had Turkish title deeds. Some were just confused with the different titles others had been mis-lead by the estate agent, advocate.



If its all above board the Greek Cypriot's name that owned the land before selling to the builder will be listed on the deeds, so if it reassures buyers and confirms it is pre 74 then I'm sure you can check.

Sorry I didn't put it over well. What I mean is that the "new" TRNC title deeds appear to be shortened to "Turkish Title"

If you scan the Estate Agents windows you will see on the picture adverts the heading Turkish Title deeds. When you go in and inquire as to if these are Pre74, you then discover they are TRNC deeds.
