St Swithin was an Anglo-Saxon bishop of Winchester

"who gained a reputation for posthumous miracle-working after his death in c.862."

@ spider. I'm heading back to the mid-atlantic areas in the states for 3 weeks and am seriously looking forward to the 98 degree weather with 40% humidity. NC is a lovely place, but in late July it's hard to be enthusiastic without central heating and air in every shop or bar you visit.
