Hi I am an avid reader or Martina Cole Books I have a selection but would like to be abale to order more, but I'm having difficulty in finding a book store in which to do this, even in the South.

Or if any Reader out there would like to swap any of Martina Cole books will be glad to do so. Thanks. Smithy

You could also try the bookshop at Five Finger Restaurant in Ozankoy or the Kyrenia Library behind the post office. The library costs 15ytl to join and you can take out as many books as you like at a time and keep them for as long as you want. Also there are lots of book stalls at the various markets, one supporting KAR at Pegasus on Fridays, Dawn at Carpenters on Fridays and no doubt a few at Chateau Lambousa on Saturdays.

Smithy I am sure I have some of the titles you are looking for.

I am reading The Graft at the moment so it's yours as soon as I have finished! (unless you get a copy before!).

Nothing is forgotten is a little shop in Edremit, they have used books.

Another idea is to look in the hotels, they usually have a few left behind by holidaymakers, i've gotten some recent releases this way in the past!

Whilst we are on the subject, anyone got a copy of 7th Heaven by James Patterson I can borrow please???

I just ordered a couple of books from Amazon.co.uk 10 days ago.

They arrived yesterday. I paid £15 shipping, but if I would have found the books here, the price of the books will be higher anyway...

I would not buy any electronics or similar together with the books, since the TRNC custom officers are checking more thoroughly these days.

Hi Jackeen, you must be luckier than me for getting post, even family in the Uk send letters etc and I have yet to receive them. what chance have I of receiving books. only way through this, is to get them to deliver to friends, then wait for them to come over here, by then books will be out of fashion, ha but thanks for the reply. Thankyou so much for the offer, its very kind of you, I have had a couple of replies so hopefully I might be able to get one or two, but I will e mail you if at all possible you could look out for them in the UK, we take it for granted when we live in the Uk when you can just pick up the phone or go on line and order what you want, especially places like Amazon/E bay where they are so cheap. and get them delived with no problem. Thanks again. I will note down your e mail and get back to you. Smithy

Can you get to Alsancak? I can let you have The Graft whenever you want.

I'm currently reading a stephen King and also Steven Gerrards Autobiography!

Will give anything a go as long as its not sloppy & slushy love story!

Used to read Danielle Steel, but one was so sad I had to stop reading it!!

HI smithy, don't worry about not having enough books to read when you are out here, just post on here when you arrive and there is enough ex-pats with up to date books to keep you going. I love Martina cole as well, read them all.

Although I have had quite considerable problems with letters posted to me disappearing, the same is not true of parcels which have always arrived at Girne Post Office and a note informing me that they are awaiting collection left in my post box at our villa. I have received books, a new motor for our vacuum cleaner, vinyl records, a watch, CDs and quite a few other things.
