Turkcell 4gb internet package

Has anyone noticed that lives here, that their 4gb internet package allowance with Turkcell is being cut off over a week before its monthly allowance is up, this has only happened in the last two months. I was in the Girne office this morning, and two other customers were having the same problem. I asked if I could pay more TL to increase my gbs ,answer will find out and ring you next week. My only extravagance is to listen to BBC radio4.

Yes Cornish, me too and my only fettish is BBC radio 2. My first time with them and have to say the connection and consistency is great, but proving expensive? See how much my 90ytl gives me

Have you thourght of ditching your Dongle as it guzzles up your money - OK if you are just on holidays checking emails etc



I am now with Extend Unlimited internet - download as much as you like, radio, tv for 75 TL a month no extra and they are running promotion pay 3 mths get 1 one free!

I was amazed how much I was using so checked it out:



Radio uses about 50Mb per hour so if you listen to radio for 4 hours per day thats 200Mb per day. So your 4 Gb will last around 20 days.

On the reverse of this if you are only on holiday and just use it for checking mails and a little surfing or facebooking etc then you can now get a 2gb one. I was away for 3 weeks and went online everyday and still didnt use .5 gb but I dont listen to videos or radio shows etc. Hope this helps holiday makers who are not sure how much to get.

Hi...I have tried both Turkcell and telsim ( vodaphone )....Turkcell was far better reception in esentepe, Telsim very unreliable.



The 2Gb Turkcell...anyone know how much this is and how long it lasts for?

If you want to find out how much you have used and have left you can send a text message from the Turkcell app you use to log onto the internet. Create a new message and send the word 'durum' to 1111.
