We own an apartment in Bogaz (Iskele) and visit often. Whenever we visit we hire a car for 2 weeks. Most days we just chill out with a few trips to the beach, dinner, touring or shopping. The rest of the time the car parks unused with money wasted.



Does anyone have a car-share scheme going where you can hire a car from a resident for adhoc days? We enjoyed this in Spain where one of the permanent residents offered an airport pick-up/drop-off service and one could hire the car for half a day or a day here and there. The owner of the car had an insurance policy for additional cover just for the specific days.
