I'm glad someone posted about this. What's the indication that it's needed? We've got a 2nd hand mobile AC unit recently and we wondered whether it might be needed. Advice gratefully received.

Have you tried "ICEMAN" on this board, hence the name, that what he does.



I must say a big thank you to his engineers as they both received bee strings because one of the outside units had a nest inside !!

Nest removed and now the unit can be repaired.



Reference the price which people ask; It will allways be dearer to service one unit than four or five (per unit) because of travelling costs, etc. One unit may be 100TL whilst five may be 60TL per unit.

Just to let you know, although we no longer sell the air conditioning units, we do however still, fit, maintain and repair them. You can call the office, and myself or one of my team will talk to you, about your needs.

We charge 45TL per unit to service, plus gas, minimum 2 units.

Common symptom of lack of gas is unit runs (blows air) but doesn't heat/cool. Sometimes units doesn't even do that.

i was told yesterday that the old gas,so for some of the older air con systems that gas is scarce at the moment and the price has risen for re gasing, 130tl one firm was looking for to re gas if it was the old gas.

We charge about 25-30TL to regas with the "Old" gas.
