Ever had a day that you hoped would be great and it was BETTER ?!



Woke up too early yesterday - it was our third anniversary, so I wanted to make sure Veta woke up knowing I hadn't forgotten.



Got an email saying that our step-son should be treated as a home student [ tuition fess much less ] and he got his results - FAR exceeding Veta's wildest aspirations..



Veta took ME out to dinner - her choice of cuisine and place and INSISTED on paying :o ;)

Is is too greedy to ask that Jenson Button will finish first with Lewis Hamilton second in this weekend's German GP, Leeds Utd will win the championship, and we'll win the lottery that we haven't entered.... ?!

Enjoy your trans-Siberian trip - if you take a stop off in August you'll be able to met Veta ;) ...and the G-i-L AND the 'dreaded' MiL ;) They live in Krasnoyarsk - RIGHT in the middle of Russian and it is on one of the two main routes across Russia. They are VERY friendly hosts...great food and too much Vodka offered !



BTW Grandma is ADORABLE ! - but sadly starting to have occasional lapses of memory :(



TIP: Siberia in the summer can be VERY hot - and you need to be aware of pesky insects !
