His partner (Stobbard) does have a lot to answer for I accept that, but Moat was pumped up by steroids (drugs/jealousy) ? who knows.



Wyn I can tell you before Saturday that 90% of geordies do not think he died a "Hero", I also thought that if he was going to shoot himself he would have before the stand off with police.



I do believe in capital punishment though, and think if its a dead cert killing (As in his case) he got what he deserved.



I was told by a good source that he even used a different type of cartridge to maim his girlfriend, not kill (Cannot comment on the policemens shooting though, that was pure calculated).



Wyn, like you I will debate if I have a point of view, but will try not to lose it , but have a drink afterwards !

it was a sawn off shotgun which means it spreads the minute it leaves the barrel, so only good for close up work, wouldn't shot a rabbit at any distance, look at the policeman face no great amount of damage only to his eyes soft tissue, the chances are that the glass was what done the damage, not cartridge other that a BB as in ball bearing would have made a difference, the shot only makes a difference if the barrels are in tact
