| A nearly full moon last night right over the mountains at about 20:30 noticed directly below the moon a twinkling light there all night after Anybody any idea what it was Is it a star Is it a space station Its stayed there to long to be a plane and it appeared to be deep in space Any one know what it is? |

| We saw that star too last night and couldnt work out what it was, my husband though it was a satelite. Im not sure its venus as we saw that 2 nights in a row and it was much brighter and seemed to be in a very different position. |

| The only things that can appear to stay in 1 place are a geosynchronous satellite or objects in the Earth's atmosphere. Everything else, star, planet, space station would appear to move as the Earth turns. As it was in deep space then it must have been a satellite like Turksat et. al. which stay in the same position relative to the Earth. |

| The bright object i see most nights looking from catalkoy towards girne,as the night gets later it gets more distant,but early on in the evening its very bright and seems much closer. often wonderd what it is ? |
