Dave,

Another good question - what is your maintenance period? I.E. £50 - £55 a month and visit once a week or twice a week or every day or once every two weeks etc. Also what is carried out for the maintenance - brush and hoover every visit, check valves cleaned every month, backwash only when into yellow, etc.

This is not aimed at your company but at all pool cleaners as there is a great deal of difference between a well cleaned and maintained pool and a guy turning up once a week to throw in a handful or two of chlor and hoover the pool in ten minutes then leave!

There appears to be no "constant" in cleaning and that is where the money is - that and the pool cleaner who also knows a gardener, painter, pump repair man, etc etc.

but of course there are still alot of pool cleaners here on the island working illigal and not paying taxes,so some of them can afford to clean pools very cheap.not that im saying ur pool cleaner does not pay his taxes

im sure if you put his contact number on the forum tim ,he would get lots of work with those prices

Waddo message 10

zerochlor cleaning means.

summer cleaning from 15th of may to 15th of october, cleaning means,2 cleans per week per month, cleaning is vac pool, brush walls at least 1 time per month, keep overflow channels clean, check vlaves cleaned, pump basket emtied every visit, periodically check pump room equipment of course back wash when we think its needed, slowly vac your pool like in slow motion, not a quick vac that just displaces all the dust into the water, then its all settled again by the next morning. And then you think ,ohh its been a windy night and lots of dust

winter times.15th october until 15th may, clean pool 1 time per week per month, same as above all other cleaning duties, also if heavy rains,we keep a eye on pump room if you are not here,in case of floodings.

yes most pool cleaners are jack of all trades, even electricians, thats what you missed out,,,and master of non!!

Dave,

Now, that's what I meant. Now the question must be asked again. Whats the average price you are all paying - for a cleaning service similar to message 12?

I have seen zero chlor pool cleaning in action over a couple of months - you can't beat it!!!!!

No, I don't have shares and they don't clean my pool - its only fair to comment on a good service and product.

Dave;

Thats why all the while people like the one on MSG 6 doing what they do I can only afford to work for my brother (internet provider in nicosia ) whilst maintaining pools or doing other things.

But dont worry too much,my eyes are open and I WILL chase them off at every opportunity.

message 13. waddo.

some pool cleaners are looking after 100 pools, average clean cost of £55,fifty five thousand pounds per annum is a ok living for here in north cyprus,if only all pool cleaners really did the job they are paid for correct, all would be very very happy, and not just say on the forum they are happy,i hear the same sad story each day almost, that customers are unhappy with something.

I know you cannot make every1 happy all of the time, but at zerochlor we do try that little harder and we offer a diffrent kind of pool clean to the majority of cleaners.

Some ladies clean there homes better than others

Happy chlorine free swimming folks

Zerochlor,

I thought you where moving to turkey? or am I mistaken. My pool is (fingers x) going to be filled for next summer and I was kinda hoping you'd still be around as your firm seems to be (in my opinion) the safest.

zerochlor will still be around when im not here and will get even more popular and used by alot more customers,as people will begin to realise, the only way to treat a pool is the zerochlor way!
