dan3006,

We were over there last week and had a great sunday lunch at the punjab, just before the lapta strip. starter and an enormous main course, (make sure you are hungry) for 17TL. Roast beef is delicious with roast spuds and yorkshire pudding. An absolute steal.

Regards. Stu.

ditto to above. You also get yorkshires with every roast. Here's a list of what you typically get :-

Meat (beef, lamb or chicken, no pork unfortunately)

2 yorkshires

roast potatoes

carrots

green beans

mashed potato

cauliflower cheese

(can't remember if I've ever had cabbage)

gravy and a selection of the usual sauces

Meat cooked to perfection (in my opinion) and veg just right, not too al dente, not too soft.

Whenever I go I have to get a load of it to take away because it's too much for me. I'm a 'eat a small amount but regularly person'

Dan 3006,

We had Sunday lunch at The Antique restaurant, only a few mins from you, in May and for 19ytl for a 3 course sunday roast meal would say it is well worth a visit. A nice restaurant in general as well with good food & very good prices.
