I today recieved an email from wish2rent along with aprox 50 other members Please cease and desist from emailing me . does any one else think it is not on for comercial posters to bulk email people via cyprus 44 ?

This is the sort of spam e-mail that authorities are trying to stop. This person has obviously either gone down the members list and extracted the addresses or obtained from the board management which I sincerely hope is not the case.



This is probaly not illegal because many of us publish our address on a public forum but it is immoral.



I think an answer from Izzet is required on this issue ASAP and if he is to allow this sort of extraction to take place then I for one will have to remove my e-address.

I received the same email and found it informative, although I don't agree with spam mail, I don't think they meant any harm or wanted to waste your time reading it , unlike some of the spam I receive each day.

I have made a feature last week such that not all members can see email addresses. only members that that has posted 50 posts.



This will prevent fraud people from registering and grabbing email addreses without posting anything.



By the way, you can always opt not to display your email address.

Yes, I noticed that and is probably a very good solution to these sort of problems........at the moment I fall into this category but am happy for other genuine users to see my email address.

I have been receiving unsolicited emails for finding girls and personal services in my area! Much more interesting than Wish2rent!



I obviously deleted them before the wife saw them!
