This is being posted by Roly's Daughter Claire....I have been visiting my parents in Ozankoy for ten years now ive never really rated the night time entertainment as ive found it a little cheesy to say the least, after one night in Effendi, my opinion has changed completely!..not only was the host Andy, a wonderfully warm, welcoming person, but the entertainment put on by him was class all the way..the Jazz/soul singer had a naturally beautiful voice and i was mesmerised from the moment she started singing until the moment she stopped..in my opinion Effendi's entertainment is most definately a ruby in a mountain of rocks! Now to the food, i chose to spend time with my family (including two children) at Effendi's for my birthday evening meal..between the seven of us we sampled most of the menu..the food was OUTSTANDING!, i had the mussels to start, then the duck, all cooked perfectly and the presentation certainly had the wow factor! thanks to Andy, for making my birthday dinner special

Totaly agree about entertainment, different class, lovely courtyard setting, great food & service.

Not the easiest place to find, but worth the effort.

agree we had some excelent meals there the last two weeks although the fillet steak was a littel chewy best avoided..if you want fillet steak go to Stoenhouse Grill anything else try efendis or La Joya near Tatlisu

dont think only women massage their age I may be 90....I have all my own teeth and I can bite...a recommendation for Efendi would be to have steak knives available whilst the steak was chewy (but still a nice flavor) normal cutlery is not suitable for steak....yes I could have asked but should I?
