I am going back to the U.K. very soon and would like to see if it is worth taking back.... my car is a Honda Jazz 1400cc auto, with sun roof , silver blue, had it from new, I bought it at the Honda garage in Paphos and inported to the North ( a very costly inport).. would it be worth about 8000 pounds????

Hi brickie, Not too sure about your price of £8k But taking it to UK can only incur more expense, that you will never recoup when you come to sell it there. I think it would be better to sell before you leave. Good luck, Navek

dandd3 Please show me where you can by a new Suzuki Swift for 6k. We almost bought one in the South 2 years ago and even then it would have cost us 9000 euros tax free !! Paul

The price of 8000pounds was a fealer to see the market, open to offers, when the time is right, about 2 months.

Have a look at autotrader online , then you will see what they are selling for in the UK. My guess is sell it before you leave here.

Dandd3 I think that you are either mistaken or just talking out of your backside. The cheapest new shape Suzuki Swift that i can find is a 2005 at £7500. 2008 models sell for around the £12 - £13k mark. Show me a nearly new one for 5 grand and i will buy you a bucketful of beer. http://www.kktcarabam.com/arama-sonuclari-detayli.php?marka=59&model=1301 Paul

On another note,,, I have lived here for 10 years in the south and now in the north , and have purchased 2 cars and a twin cab 4x4,,,, and they were all IMPORTS FOR JAPAN, so to buy a local car from a local dealer you will pay to DOLLAR for it, they were NOT NEW I bought as the local price was expensive, a brand new car, Suzuki for 6000grand , you are in a diffrent country noddy land!!!!!!!!!!!! i did splash on my Jazz new that was over 8000grand plus in 2004.....

Dandd3 Ooooh aren't you tough You will be smoking behind the bikeshed next !! LOL Look at the website that I posted, it's the TRNC Autotrader - all the traders advertise on it. I am pretty sure that you are mistaken in what you saw, maybe it was 15 grand not 5 grand or you are mistaking an old shape Swift for a new shape. Either way, as you will see from what other posters have said, you will not get a nearly new Suzuki Swift for 5 grand ....simples !!! If you can, then buy it, I will give you 6 grand for it in a heartbeat. Now do your homework before you go out to play LMAO !! Paul

Homeri Just abit of banter and no harm or offence intended I think that the Jazz is probably the better car although I thought that the new electronic steering is a bit vague. Very well thought out car though, with loads more space than you would imagine. Just my opinion of course. Now I will GTFO Paul
