can any one tell me what this song is and who is it by?? I thought it was Buddy Holly but i havebeen told by Holly "expert" that it is not. It is in the same style as a Buddy Holly song. I believe it was about 1959 or there abouts.

Beat of my heart says hear my plea

bring her back bring her back to me

tears in my eyes rolling down my cheek

says I cant cry no more I cant cry no more cant you see

my heart says I love you my tears say I care

my arms are longing for you but

still your not there.

some one must know what this song is ????? thanks guys

Santa Bring My Baby

Elvis Presley

I don't need a lot of presents

To make my Christmas bright

I just need my baby's arms

Wound around me tight

Oh oh Santa hear my plea

Santa bring my baby back to me

The Christmas tree is ready

The candles all aglow

But with my baby far away

What good is mistletoe

Oh oh Santa, hear my plea

Santa bring my baby back to me

Please make these reindeer hurry

Well their time is drawing near

It sure won't seem like Christmas

Until my baby's here

Fill my sock with candy

And a bright and shiny toy

You wanna make me happy and fill my heart with joy

Then Santa, hear my plea

Santa bring my baby back to me

Please make these reindeer hurry

Well their time is drawing near

It sure won't seem like Christmas

Until my baby's here

Fill my sock with candy

And a bright and shiny toy

You wanna make me happy and fill my heart with joy

Then Santa, hear my plea

Santa bring my baby back to me

Then Santa, hear my plea

Santa bring my bab

I can't believe the joy i... I hear the rain on my window. ...while the rain plays a melody. ...ere is nothing that I'd rather do than......I can't believe the joy i... I hear the rain on my window. ...It's warm in my heart, ... with you in my arms. ...I wish it would rain,...ere is nothing that I'd rather do than......I can't believe the joy i...(I can't believe) ...When I'm here all alone, ... I hear the rain on my window. ...(On my window) ...I can't believe the joy i... I hear the rain on my window. ...(On my window, I hear the raindrops fall)...ere is nothing that I'd rather do than......(Nothing that I'd rather do than) ...I can't believe the joy i... I hear the rain on my window. ...(On my window, I hear it rain) ...I can't believe the joy i...All alone I hear the rain. ...(I hear the rain) ...My love here comes the rain. ...My love here comes the rain. ...My love here comes the rain. ...My love here comes the rain.

Magolina. I've spent over an hour on the net trying to find this tune without any luck.

Is it possible that you've got the lyrics wrong?

Hi Magdolina, I've also spent hours of time on the net and going through my vast collection of music at home since you first posted this poser and I have come to the conclusion, like No1Doyen, that you may have got your lyrics slightly wrong. I have altered and added some words to the lyrics but to no avail. Can you give me an idea if it was a top hit at the time and if possible, an exact year.

I seem to spend half my time at the moment thinking about the song - it's driving me crackers as well as you.

Hi Magolina,

This may have been on a B side or even one on an album. If this is the case we are unlikely to track it down. Why not put a nice letter to the BBC to see what they can come up with?

Nope like others spent a good deal of time looking for you but you must have it wrong... if it were right, it would be on the net somewhere and with people spending in excess of 4 hours looking.... it ain't right.

Hi Magolina - like No1Doyen, you've got me bitten with trying to solve this puzzle - "What is and who sang this song".

I have looked everywhere on the internet and have even been through a lot of the thousands of pop songs I have in my collection. I have a strong feeling that you may have the lyrics of the song rather mixed up somewhat. Remember, 50 years is a long time back and the old grey matter mat not be remembering things from that far back as clearly as it should. Try singing the song to yourself using, (some), different wording, you will be surprised how it may help.

When I get people asking me for requests at my Disco shows and they don't know the song title, I get them to sing the words. You'd be surprised how many people sing the wrong words and get the lyrics mixed up.

Let me know if you come up with different wording.

DJ Mike. You are correct. I think Magolina has somehow got the words mixed up. It's easily done.

If anyone has an Iphone, download the app called "soundhog" you can hum, say the words, type the lyrics, put it next to a speaker or even sing in the mic and it will find it for you.
