Hi, the iron that I bought in the South has packed up after only 3 months of very occassional use. Does anyone know where I can buy an iron here in the North that comes with a guarantee? Failing that does anyone have a spare iron they're willing to sell me at a reasonable price? Thanks

Thanks Chris. Do you know if it would come with any kind of guarantee?

Sisief,

have a look in Homfront, Alsancak, what a lovely shop that is. Loads of nice bits in there.

Thanks for all the replies - I've got one from the shop Chris recommended, fingers crossed it'll last longer than the last one.

Msg 6 - Storm, thanks for the idea but they don't have a good rep for guarantees on electrical items - I bought a remote control car and was told point blank that if it didn't work I couldn't bring it back!!

Msg 9 - My sentiments exactly.... I very rarely use an iron but very occassionally I do have to make a slight effort haha!

My idiotic son dropped mine just before I came out. Picked one up at Tesco's before I left. £3.84 for a nifty little steam iron. No contest..
