Hey, think this is my 2nd post on this subject. Haven’t been out to Cyprus in a while and coming in August, is anywhere Wi Fi enabled?

Eziç Premier, Jasmine Court Hotel, and some holiday villages and other hotels and Bars have wi-fi, but you normally need a password, I believe - Stevies Bar out esentepe way MAY be an exception - no doubt someone will tell us!

Extend & Sunny Cyprus also have various 'Hotspots' around the area, but as far as I can make out, these are 'subscription only'.

Does anyone know of any 'Free' wi-fi hotspots, or ones where you can just buy a coffee etc, and be allowed to use them?

Golf Club you ask for password when you buy drinks.

Stevies bar is open access just purchase drinks.

Altinkaya Hotel is open access they just expect you to buy drinks or lunch.

The Courtyard was open access last time we used it.

Extend pay as you go hotspot connections are not expensive and they start from as low as 3TL for one hours use

You can buy a 7 day connection for 15TL (7 days unlimited traffic at 512Kbps)

http://www.extendbroadband.com/tr/dialup.php

You can buy these connections by either phoning ( 0392 ) 444 29 92 and using your credit card or any Extend Broadband office or dealer.

Espressamente coffee bar at the western end of Girne. Just ask a waiter and they'll give you the login details.
