Could anyone help me out, I have just rented my villa in the month of June for ten days, no one else has used the villa and my electricity bill was 485ytl (around £200).

Does anyone know where I can purchase a cut off device for the aircon, so that it automatically switches off say aftter 30 minutes and stays off for a certain length of time.

On the development that I live on, you can spot the properties that have holidaymakers staying. They are the ones with aircon running all day and the windows open.

I saw one villa advertised that allows say, 300 units per week. Anything used over that then it is deducted out of the deposit. Same thing with water, so many tonnes free then they have to pay to have it delivered. I don't know how their guests view this but I should think they might think twice about over using the air con and water.

On the other hand we have just rented a villa which advertised air conditioning for £800 for the week and not all the rooms have airconditioning. The previous guests had complained but we were not made aware.

There is a timer on the remote controls that you can set to control the time the units are running.
