In his news conference in Ankara although only mentioned briefly, David Cameron stated that he would be looking for a sucessful and satisfactory solution to the Cyprus question this year.

Cameron does not give a toss about The TRNC. He was only interested in peeing up the Turks back. Did he mention 8000 Brits in The TRNC. Did he utter "memorandum" "PTP' Pre 74. Did he hell Cameron wants the Turkish Military Power, and the energy Of Turkish youth to do the work that Brits are now too idle to do. I could vote for the man! wynyardman

Re : Msg 5, Dear Wynardman, it is not Cameron who wants all this. He is running errands for the American cousins. THEY wand to keep their military bases there. As for Mr. Cameron he had promised to take UK out of EU long time ago - so much for EU lobbying. And who is going to pay for this? UK? ( By re-selling their debt to the Chinese?)

I lived and worked in the trnc for 7 years, all the promises made in 2004 turned into just words, Cameron has nothing to gain from supporting a soloution. The only chance is an agreement between the south and north, without the constraints of the EU..Unfortunately as it was in 2001, nothing has changed.
