my pool is behaving badly.ever morning I have to hoover and this is causing my pool to turn.Is it the chemical imbalance or is it a more serious problem.Only had the sand in filter changed last year

Do you have the pump on long enough each day now it is hot. Have you checked the filter basket on the pump is clean. Have you the right balance of ph- and chlorine. Add some algicide chemical. I am sure Vaughn will put you right when he reads this.

this time of the year the pump should be working at least 8 hours a day.



leave it on for a full 8 hours, dont split up the hours it is working for.



even though you say sand was renewed last year,might be worthwhile checking the sand level,people have been known to cut corners.

i think you are saying every morning there is a fine dust on the bottom of your pool?

try vacing your pool very very slow,move the vac head along the bottom very slow like your working in slow motion,also make sure the vac pipe is filled with water and no air left in the pipe,try to sink the pipe and fill it with water.
