If people continue queuing and filling up their tanks at this rate, the petrol stations will dry out and most probably have to shut down for different reasons.

What ever is that the rumour was it was very smart as most of the stations i went to today were closed due to being sucked dry. I spoke to the guys at Green Petrol/KPET in Alsancak and they said they are NOT closed tomorrow.

I got caught with the rumour yesterday but i have to say that most of the people waiting for petrol were locals. They were filling everything they could including plastic water bottles which i thought was so dangerous and the petrol station owners should have told people not to panic.

Teresa Why would the station owners tell people not to panic when they can get great financial benefits from this? Think about it - would you?
