Hi

my partner and i have purchased a villa in tatlisu which should be finished in december!!! and we plan to come and live out there sometime next year we currently live in manchester, we are both 38 and returning in september for another holiday 3rd time this year we have just stayed around the harbour, can anyone tell me where expats go to meet up .

Hi Sids,

I have also bought a villa in Esentepe, through the same builder Salih, well chuffed i am, also i am from Manchester area to.

When i first went out there ( 2005)i went along to the courtyard, and was suprised to see how many ex-pats went there for the curry night, all were really friendly, this happens either every Monday or Tuesday unless things have changed, maybe an ex-pat will see and clarify.

The Watermill Hotel (behind the Passport restaurant) is good. They have bar b Q's, quiz nights, bingo wed afternoons, and a market on Sundays. Never go to the Friday market at the Carpenters the animal that runs it needs too be taken down a peg or two.
