Does it matter? the figure has been set in stone and there is no other body now that the complainant has recourse to.

Dont know if thats good news. I understood that the compensation we would have to pay would be based on 1974 prices plus inflation. A plot of land round us is approx £40-£50 k per donum.

Has anyone seen anything from the Govt as to how the compensation levels will be set. Plenty from lawyers and estate agents but nothing from the horses mouth so to speak. All I know is that if you have improved the property to a level above pre 74 prices then you dont have to give up the property, but as for how much of say ,the £40k I would have to pay,I havent a clue

so all the turkish cypriots who owned land in the south before it was taken over by the greeks will get 3 x as much compensation than the greeks for their land in trnc, and the land stays with the current people.

well the greek lawyer in the orums case must be the most hated figure in greece and greek occupied cyprus now, lol
