Hi All,

Has anyone heard from Coachie? Its been a long time now and the last I heard it was a knee replacement operation.

Dont suppose it stopped him typing though!

Perhaps he dissappeared with that last bastion of Socialism Gordon the Brown. Funny how they all disapperared, just like those weapons of mass destruction!

Come back Coachie, we need you.!

Have no fear the Coachie is still here.Had a few probs with knee jobbie but all is ok now. Had a game today "arry and it went quite well.It can only get better. You been listening to Wynn Newlad,I was actually in Guisboro Road in a Premier inn for the night, very nice too.Went up around Gods country for a few days to give her indoors a well earned break. Its what I called "going back to my roots" and oh how it has all changed.Mind you its nearly 55 years since i left.

Well Wynn..you might have got rid of one shower but it looks like you have got yourselves another. The Lib Dem electorate must be spitting nails at them joining up with Batman and Robin and alot of tory supporters are not too happy either. I admit we lost the election but the Tories did not win it either. Could be very interesting over the next few months...

now,now Wynyard I pays for my on booze. Dont you mean where is Blair and the WMD,s. Its funny you know how people tend to forget that the opposition voted for the invasion of Iraq based on the evidence OF THE DAY. Its very easy to condemn people in hindsight. It could so easily have been right at the time, and they would have been praised as heroes for going in and sorting it out. What you have to remember is there is an awful lot of SAND in Iraq and who is to say they are not buried somewhere for a later day.He got rid of his Airforce to his arch enemy Iran without too much trouble, could be thats where WMD.s are as well.Iran are developing better missiles for the carriage of such weapons but I have every confidence that the moment thyget anywhere near being ready,Israel will finish them off....

Pipie.. I wont answer your question about the terrible duo,but the knee is fantastic. You have to put up with pain during your physio or you will end up as you were before the op. 10 weeks from start to finish and I do not use crutches or a stick.Might have the other one done next year!!!

Coachie. Get the other one done, I had 2 done in 11 months not looked back the best thing I ever had done, changed my life. The pain doing the physio is bad but you have to do it to make the op work. Good luck.

thankyou all for your welcome back posts,as for those enquiring about the op.The NHS did pay for the job ,but it was done in a private hospital in Crewe, and I certainly have no complaints about the aftercare. Some will say that is because I was in a private hospital,my reply to those is that I had my By pass op in a NHS hospital and the aftercare there was excellent.I doubt I would be here telling you if it was not so.

Well Hippo there was a few million others in the same position, but like I said, the Tories did not win the election outright so there must still be a lot of people who are not convinced that Batman and Robin can do the job.Time will tell.

Newlad..you might have a point there!!
