The Congo Faith Healers at Vogue Beach Club. What a band - absolutely knockout. Just a shame there weren't more people there to see what must have been the best band to appear in TRNC for a long time. They're at Tango to Buddha this Friday - if you can get tickets go and see them - you won't regret it!

The best band I've seen for many a year - that's what I think of the 'CONGO FAITH HEALERS'. A four piece band consisting of a drummer - double bass player - trumpeter and a 'dobro' style guitar player/singer. Their music was a mixture of Blues - Swing - Latin - R&B - Jazz - Carribean and Rock - and did they have fun playing it. The trumpeter was a good old Yorkshire lad from Barnsley, and boy oh boy could he play it (eat your heart out Dizzy Gillespie - he was that good). If you didn't go last night, then get on down to the 'Tango To Budha' this friday to see them. I'll be there - second helpings of this band are a must.
