Hi all

3 weeks ago I purchased a dress for my daughter who was coming out on holiday to TRNC, I explained that she could not try it on until she was here, no problem said the stall holder I will exchange it for you if it does not fit, unfortuatly it did not fit her, so I went back to exchange it and she refused saying that I could only change within 2 weeks so there you have it, not to do disservice to better informed stall holders, the stall is on the right as you approach the small gate though to other area effectivly in the corner near the watch maker.

Oh and convienly they decided that they could no long speak english, which they had done perfectly 3 weeks prior!! you have been warned, my advice boycott the stall.

With the name mustafaleak you must be taking the proverbial urine. If you are a CT/T then you need to wisen up and if you are a Brit Expat and you paid peanuts for the garment then bite the bullet and accept the fact that is the way things go out here.

Hi - have seen your pic on several threads - would like to say you are a very young 80 - I'm nearly 60 & you look better than me.

Anyway enough of the flattery - my hubby & I are coming out to N/C on 18th August for 2/52 - mainly to find out how we go about things - as we plan to rent for 6months from Sept/Oct this yr (longer if we like things) - been to Bogaz before (loved it - quite & scenic - despite the ??? oil rig) & visted Kyrenia (Girne).

To be practical though we need to be around Kyrenia (as we won't be able to hire a car long-term) - hence our visit there to open a bank account & find somewhere to rent for 6months from Sept/Oct. My questions are: -

How much is needed to open a bank account if staying for 6mo Any good banks (English speaking staff)

If only staying for 6months how do we go about extending our visa - was told just go to police station - but read threads that indicate we need other papers to

Your help/advice would be much appreciated

Anne
