how much is gravel per ton?

bit of strange request but does anybody know how much 20 tonnes of gravel would cost .also 1000 sqm of membrane .

We paid 400ytl for a lorry load - allegedly 20 tonnes, how do you tell? Membrane was just under 3ytl per metre for 3 metre wide roll. Gragari in Karsiyaka for gravel, Çağra in Karakum for membrane. Both were bought Feb/Mar last year but got another lorry load of gravel a couple of months ago via Gabriel, Esentepe for same price but slightly better quality, IMO.

membrane prices do vary by 100% so check before buying, don't assume everywhere same price.

much cheaper to buy the gravel direct from the quarry (you also get a weighbill so you know exactly how much you are getting).

on the Lefkosa/Famagusta side of the mountains. If you head up the mountain road past the turning for Esentepe/Tatlisu, past Arapkoy and keep going the road will eventually pass over the top and down the other side, at the bottom there are a couple of quarries. Go to the one nearly opposite to the "Night Club" (you can't miss it as it has pictures of dancing girls on the outside walls) Friend of ours who lives in Alsancak has used them a couple of times now and says this is the better of them.

last time we ordered it was about 350ytl. hubbys said the membrain was rubbish, just put down extra gravel. it works for us.
