Teatime,

I have been selling VPNs FROM the UK, IN the UK, using a UK address and tel number for 10 years .. for corporate use - then I found the niche.

If you don't think I haven't thought this through...

It IS legal to watch UK TV ( not live ) without a TV licence - Just like SKY, the BBC are trying to geo-control tv rights.

I thought it was quite 'interesting' how they suggest it might not be legal - I suggest they haven't taken a big VPN provider to Court for a VERY good reason - EU Law has a specific Directive in place re TV without frontiers.

Most of my users are corporate clients and I charge 4 times as much as the tv vpn crowd - there's a VERY good reason for that.. it works ;)

I will soon offer a Slingbox/catcher soln via a fibre optic high speed uplink - you buy your own receiver and control in over the internet - only YOU can control your OWN receiver.. The BBC have ensured that sites like tvcatchup and zattoo don't allow UK content outside of the U

TT : Being legal is something I have to care deeply about - I'm not hard to find and quite sure of my legal position.. but thanks, anyway ;)

Most respondents seem to have lost the point of the question. Yes, it was http://www.flixtime.com You can put together your own video of photographs and text plus add music all free of charge. I have tried a small test video and it works great as an attachment to send with an email. Now I am about to start on a "proper" video sequence ... I think you are allowed six minutes. I have yet to look at the intracies but it appears to be a good way of sharing your photos and live video, presented in an imaginative and professional way and all for nothing! Can't be bad!!
