set this up at home -



in Cyprus get an internet connection - the slingbox in the uk will have an ip address - connect to it - you now control your home tv from cyprus - whatever your home tv can get you can see

I have been running a Slingbox set up for a few years now in Dubai and they work very well. A bit slow when internet connection speeds are down to less than 400kbps but with an average speed of anywhere above 500 its fine. The better the connection the better the reception.

Only drawback is that if your telly goes off or you box hangs up in the UK and nobody has access to it then your snookered. That’s why I pay a hosting service.
