Does anyone know if there is a Weightwatchers group in the Kyrenia area? If not, are there any slimming groups around. ( I have real difficulty keeping my weight down when I am in N Cyprus due to my fondness for baclavas and Hellim cheese) I need some discipline.

There is a sort of weightwatchers who meet in the Alsancak area (I think they meet in the LA Hotel but wouldn't swear to it).

There is a slimming club at Cactus Bar on the Lapta strip they meet there on Sunday morning at 10.30 or they meet Wednesdays at the church just down from the big tv in Girnie not sure what time but i can find out for you and let you know.

There is also the water airobics at the semina hotel karsiyaka tuesdays @ 10.30 am.

The meeting in Lapta would suit me as I am not far away. I am only out for 6 weeks so could not start a group, but it is a good idea as people could come when they are on holiday. Weightwatchers members always say holidays are the difficult times.
