Sounds like Prickly heat.

I use to suffer from this and know how you are suffering.

Go to a chemist and show your symtoms and they will prescribe something to relieve it.

I think that Hippo may have hit the nail on the head. Get some anti-histamines from the Pharmacist that will take the itch out. Stay out of the sun and if gets any worse seek medical assistance.

metin my brother has suffered from eczema all his life and what you have described certainly doesn't sound like it, especially the lumps under the skin it really sounds more like something you have had contact with. Is it only your hands that are affected?

I have had this on and off for years and was also diagnosed with excema. It became so bad that the rash went under my nails and they started to part from the nail bed. Not good.

I've come to the conclusion that it is contact dermititus, when I have a flare-up I can't even touch a tomato or a lemon as the acid in them burns my hands. Allergic, even to rubber gloves. ( That gets you out of the washing up! ) The only treatment and it is not ideal for long term is steroid cream. Also avoid any cream with lanolin.

Good Luck, it is not nice.

Metin,

I think the best thing to do in is now go and see a Doc or pop into Girne Hospital which is cheaper and get another opinion. No matter how good a pharmacist is they are not doctors. And I can only guess going by your description.

Have you been trimming any oleandors - a friend of mine got a dreadful allergy from deadheading the spent flowers. She went to a dermatologist in Girne and he diagnosed shingles! She never goes near the oleandor trees and the skin condition has never come back. Hope this helps.

Is your skin getting scaley Dawn, because that sounds like eczema, which can also come from stress, but I agree with Chris, go to the hospital or a doctor. I get it on my knuckles and palms and drives me mad. Good luck with the diagnosis, hope it's nothing to horrible. Stella x

Hi Dawn, speak to me off the bopard please, I have same problem 4 months now. when the rash comes it is bad, I have found one other guy who also has this., Sounds similar.

I had the jab in the bum at the hospital and it did clear up, but also had take 2 zirtec per day, It seems to have reappeared.

When I first had it Nurse Awful thought shinles, but when shw saw it , she said that this rash was not really known to her.

Mine started with itchy palms and fingers, with lumps under the skin, (like chilblains) but then rash appeared around my neck and spread rapidly over my body.

Good Luck Dawn Regards Lee

Rash under the skin sounds like blocked sweat glands, you wouldn't believe it but I used to get it in England. I'm sure Chris will pick me up on the correct name, but I think it was salicic acid (or something like that) mixed with cheap white cream(again forgotten the name) that the doctor gave me to clear it up. We're all getting very good at this diagnostic game. Perhaps we should all join Chris as her helpers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
