| I notice this to be a common spelling/pronouncing mistake amongst members. When referring to the municipality, you use the word "belediyesi" Now..unless you state the name of the belediye in front (ie Girne Belediyesi) you shouldn't be adding the "i" at the end and just say "belediye" Adding the "i" sort of changes the meaning...as in,you are referring to the "belediye" of a certain area but missing the name in the sentence. example: Direct translation of "Girne Belediyesi" is "Municipality of Girne" If you were to set up a sentence in English referring to a belediye without the name, would you say "Municipality of" or Municipality? |
