just been to the NEW Charcos resturant in lapta, bigger better and oh so traditional. fantastic night thankyou celal and christina. your fantastic paintings are awesome. the food is as good as ever. good luck to you both.

truely fantastic. christina has done an outstanding job re paintings and celel has rebuild this building from a wreck ask to see the photos in 6 mths. wish i had known him before i build my villa would have probably gone traditional style.

The old Charcos was fantastic, it wasn't open in June when we were there as they were in th process of moving, can't wait to see the new place in October...where exaclty is it in Lapta they have moved to?

The 'easy to get to' directions are take the main road along the Lapta strip and turn left taking the turn off to the Chat Lam market and when you get to Lapta Police Station turn right and follow the road and you will find it on the right hand side.

they have a hugh amount of road works at lapta police station try this way.take turning on the lapta strip just before the hut coming from alsancak, go to the top turn right follow road up the hill turn right follow road through the belidiye building. you can park in this hugh car park or go a little further you will see the resturant on the left and park a little further down, apparently this is there parking area. enjoy

again this resturant dosnt fail you, fabulous food and admosphere. if you havent been to this resturant you are missing out on a treat.

Went there last week and it was fabulous, excellent value for money. Not a huge choice but just what the doctor ordered, simple, good service and a big smile. Got lost going there in the dark but it was well worth it when we got there. Lovely people.

food is typical cypriot fayre with chicke dishes from 20 tl lamb dishes from 24 tl fisf from 22 tl all served with fresh chips & sala and bread inclusive of coffee & brandy. booking is reccomended on 0533 876 3007 or 0533 874 7187
