I have received a competitive quote to get a twenty foot container from the UK to Famaguster things then get out of hand the shipping agents then want $300 US dollars port fees then £800 to bring the container to my villa also £200 to unload it . Can one of the forum members give me some information regarding there costs the above quote seems high.

Hi Frank,

I maybe wrong but I think that David was talking about shipping furniture from the UK. Perhaps you can share a container.

I use a lot of sea containers from China and a 20ft is much more expensive pro rata than a 40ft.
